What if what we thought we knew about our language was not so true?
After a couple of years copywriting, I came to realize I wasn't sure I understood Vietnamese, though I'm Vietnamese, so I decided to enroll in courses to learn the language from the basics. While realizing how dumb I was, and I am even now, I got this idea.

All beautifully crystallized vocabulary definitions belong to Ngày Ngày Viết Chữ, an independent hub dedicated to preserving Vietnamese language, working humbly for the love of mother tongue. This is also where I took courses. This lexicon is the result of years of work by the founder and her team, distilling not only dictionaries by various authors at different times but also literary works. What amazes me most is how much enjoyment they get just from doing it.
This idea is a baby step further, hoping to make learning more digestible, at least for ones like me.
What if we relearn our own language with the same dedication we give to learning a foreign one?
It's the Vietnamese bread - bánh mì that brought me to this idea.
